Description. Female (holotype). Body length 350. Body dark brown except eye silvery white, scape and legs yellow, and pedicel light brown; wings hyaline.
Head ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 12 ) 0.8× as wide as mesosoma, with vertex transversely striate. Scape ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 12 a, b) 1.5× as long as pedicel; F1 1.75× as long as F2; F3 2.6× as long as wide; F4 and F5 subequal; F5 and F6 equal, F6 and F7 subequal; clava 1.8× as long as combined length of F5–F7, with 4 mps.
Mesosoma ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13, 14 ) as long as gaster ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13, 14 ), mesoscutum about 0.3× as long as wide, with convex, transversely striate sculpture, more arched medially, and with setae on midlobe short; axillar seta long; scutellum 0.6× as long as wide, with lateral longitudinal striations along length, medially the striations converge to meet. Fore wing ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9 – 12 ) 9.2× as long as wide; disc with 5 dorsal and 3 ventral rows of setae in apical half; longest marginal seta 3.8× maximum wing width. Hind wing ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9 – 12 ) 24.5× as long as wide; disc with 1 row of dorsal setae, longest marginal seta 9.0× maximum wing width.
Metasoma. Petiole 0.42× as long as metacoxa and without a lateral spine ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13, 14 ). Gaster slightly longer than wide (140:130); ovipositor exserted ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13, 14 ), 1.26× gaster length and 1.36× length of metatibia.
Measurements of holotype (as length:width or length). Head, 125:142.5. Antenna: radicle, 10:10; scape, 45:17.5; pedicel, 30:22.5; F1, 17.5:7.5; F2, 10:7.5; F3, 20:7.5; F4, 25:7.5; F5, 22.5:10; F6, 22.5:10; F7, 2.5:12.5; clava, 122.5:20. Mesosoma, 140:130; mesoscutum, 35:120; scutellum, 57.5:90; gaster, 140:130. Fore wing, 415:45, longest marginal seta, 175; hind wing, 367.5:15, longest marginal seta, 135. Petiole, 22.5:20; ovipositor, 177.5:13.25; metacoxa, 53; metatibia, 130.
Male. Unknown.
Material examined. Holotype: EDAU / Mym12/2015, 1 female dissected and mounted on two slides (one slide containing only one antenna and the other containing the other antenna, and the rest under four cover slips), INDIA: Manipur, Tamenglong, 27.ix.2014, YPTs, forest ecosystem, 24o59’16.5624”N 93o29’43.0512’’E, K. Sophis Singh.
Distribution. India: Manipur.
Etymology. The species is named after the mymarid specialist, Dr. John T. Huber of the Canadian National Collections of Insects, Arachnids and Nematodes, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (CNC).
