Material examined. Five specimens. MB28-004771, VIPP, 12 Aug. 2013, 18m, 6mm; MB28-0 0 4818, MB28- 0 0 4820, MB28-004822 and MHN-YT1182, POA, 0 7 May 2014, 15m, 3–11mm. Habitats. Subtropical rocky reefs and tropical coral reefs.

Occurrences. Ponta do Ouro and Vamizi Island.

Geographic distribution. Indo-west, central Pacific. Hawaii, French Polynesia, Marshall Islands, Guam (Gosliner et al. 2008), Japan ( Baba 1955), Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Comoros Islands, Tanzania (Gosliner et al. 2008) and Mozambique.

Remarks. All specimens were found on the spawn of Hexabranchus sanguineus .
