Material examined. One specimen. MB28-004776, VIAIR, 12 Dec. 2013, 4m, 11mm. Habitats. Seagrass in the tropics.

Occurrences. Vamizi Island.

Geographic distribution. Indo-west Pacific. Australia (Nimbs & Smith 2016) and Mozambique. Remarks. First record for the Indian Ocean.
