Habitats. Subtropical rocky reef.

Occurrences. Ponta do Ouro and Paindane.

Geographic distribution. Indian Ocean. Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Red Sea, Sudan, South Africa (Gosliner et al. 2008), Comoros Islands, Mayotte, Tanzania (Pola et al. 2006) and Mozambique.
