≡ Sansevieria rosulata Forrest (2017: 289) View in CoL , basionym. Type:— UGANDA, Bukedea District, close to Kachumbala along the Mbale - Soroti Rd on rock outcrops, elev. 1161 m, Forrest 1506. (holotype, MHU).
Etymology:—The name D. bukedea is derived from the name of the Bukedea district, where the type locality (Mbale, Uganda) is located. We use it here as a noun in apposition.
Note:—The epithet ‘ rosulata ’ is preoccupied in Dracaena by D. rosulata Mwachala & Fischer (2013: 6) .
