Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Ipiranga.

Holotype ♂ with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “Ipiranga, São | Paulo [State of São Paulo, Brazil], Brasil. | J. Lima-1904”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “♂”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “ Chrysochlora | vespertilio | det. Bezzi”; (4) printed on white paper: “61437”; (5) handwritten on white paper: “11.875”; (6) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ Chrysochlorina beziziana | HOLOTYPUS | det. Paulo Iide, 1964 ”; (7) handwritten on white paper: “46”.

Condition of type: terminal part of abdomen with genitalia, right antenna and wing slide mounted. Left wing damaged at radial veins and at apex.
