Specimens examined. CHINA: 1 apterous vivipara, Guangxi (Mt. Jiuwandashan), on Indocalamus View in CoL sp., 2.viii.2003 (Yang JY) [No. 14648]; 11 apterous, 14 alate viviparae and 1 nymph, Hunan ( Cili County), on one species of Poaceae View in CoL , 18.x.1988 (Zhang GX & Zhong TS) [No. 8994]; 6 apterous and 10 alate viviparae, Hunan (Changsha City), on one species of Poaceae View in CoL , x.1985 (Zhang GX) [No. 8271]; 8 apterous viviparae, Hunan (Jiangcheng), on Imperata cylindrica View in CoL , 1.xi.1988 (Zhong TS) [No. 9071]; 6 apterous viviparae, Hunan (Zhangjiajie City), on Arthraxon View in CoL sp., 11.x.1988 (Zhong TS & Zhang GX) [No. 8947]; 7 apterous and 2 alate viviparae, Hunan (Changsha City), on one species of Poaceae View in CoL , x.1985 (Zhang GX) [No. 8295].
Distribution. China (Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Taiwan), Japan, Korea.
Biology. Its host plants are Imperata cylindrica , Arthraxon sp., Indocalamus sp., Phragmites sp. and other Poaceae .
