( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 )

Bittacus longiprocessus Huang & Hua, 2005: 395 View in CoL . Type locality: Fujian, China.

Diagnosis. Bicaubittacus longiprocessus can be readily separated from its congeners by its gonocoxites, which are not prolonged noticeably backwards from their middle part, and by having the apex of the upper branch of the proctiger rounded, not emarginated into L-shape.

Abdomen of female yellowish brown. Terga III–VII each with a narrow black antecosta; sternum VII trapeziform, anterior margin narrower than the posterior one ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 E). In lateral aspect, subgenital plate narrow basally, gradually broader towards apex; dorsal margin curved smoothly and not deeply emarginate ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 E); in ventral aspect, distal margin narrowly prolonged caudad; the two halves separated to the very apex by a membrane ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 D); membranous area broad basally, subtriangular in shape. Tergum X pale sordid yellow, extending very slightly ventrad; supra- and subanale yellowish brown, truncate apically ( Figs 7 View FIGURE 7 F, G). Cerci short, slightly longer than subanale ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 G).

Material examined: Holotype ɗ, Nanjing, Fujian Province, 9.V.1995, coll. Jiang Fan [ NWAU]. 1ɗ1Ψ, CHINA: JIANGXI: Ciping, Mt. Jinggangshan, 15.V.1981, coll. Jin et al., preserved in the Shanghai Entomological Museum, Shanghai [ SHEM].

Distribution. China (Fujian, Jiangxi).

Remarks. This species previously was known only by the male holotype in the original description ( Huang & Hua, 2005). Here we find two additional specimens (one male, one female) from Jiangxi Province. The male genitalia is re-illustrated according to a pinned specimen from Jiangxi ( Figs 7 View FIGURE 7 A–C) for more accuracy. The female is described and illustrated here for the first time.
