All specimens of P. pallida reported from Anatolia by Sivec & Stark (2002) are assigned to the same form as topotypes (Type 1) and the European and North African specimens are all assigned to different forms in the same complex; therefore we prefer to consider that only one form of P. pallida occurs in Anatolia, Armenia and Caucasus, corresponding to the Type 1.

Distribution in Turkey. Adana, Kahramanmaraş ( Zwick 1971); Artvin, Giresun ( Zwick 1975); Kastamonu, Niğde, Trabzon ( Sivec & Stark 2002); Artvin, Bingöl, Burdur, Sinop (Kazancı 2012); Rize ( Kazancı 2013); country record only: listed from Turkey ( Kazancı 1983b; Kazancı 2008). Distribution and ecology. The Type 1 form of P. pallida is known from the Caucasus, Armenia and Anatolia, where it occurs in different types of streams (150–2400 m). Adults emerge from spring to summer (V–VIII).
