Locality: Lohagram, Birbhum, West Bengal, India.
Holotype: One male; Regn. No.: BUPL-158A
Allotype: One female; Regn. No.: BUPL-158B
Paratypes: Five males and ten females (of these one male and two females have been processed for SEM); Regn. No.: BUPL-158C
Etymology: The new species is named in reference to the host's genus.
