Syntypes: 11 specimens fromALGERIA, M’Sila Province, Bou Saada.2M( ZMUC00046884 View Materials ), F( ZMUC00046885 View Materials ), 2 F ( ZMUC00046886 View Materials ), plus 2 specimens ( ZMUC00046887 View Materials ), in alcohol ; 3 specimens ( MNHN), “5551 E. Simon number”, in alcohol ; 1 specimen ( MNHN), on slide 1I11 .
Distribution: Bou Saada ( Algeria), Peloponeso, Corfu, Kassos, Karpathos and Rhodes ( Greece).
Notes: Despite the 30 specimens cited by With (1902), Grandjean (1936) indicates 12 specimens in the E. Simon collection, deposited at the MNHN (we checked 4 specimens). Besides, we found some of the type material deposited at ZMUC (we checked 7 specimens).
Etymology: Due the segmented idiosoma.
