Valid name: Molossops temminckii (Burmeister, 1854) Syntype: ZMB 5458 View Materials , body in alcohol, skull not extracted, female, adult; Lagoa Santa , Minas Gerais, Bra-
zil; collected by Reinwardt, donated by Burmeister, ex Museum Halle.
Comment: Burmeister mentioned that he received “a couple” (= syntypes), thus ZMB 5458 View Materials is one of these syntypes, and the other syntype specimen is held in the MIZH ( IZH-M124 ) .
