Holotype: ZMB 2958 View Materials , skin and skull, male, adult; “Ceram” = Seram Island , Moluccas, Indonesia; collected by A. R. Wallace, probably in 1860, and sold by auction in London in 1861 ( Andersen 1912: 382).
