Holotype—Male; India: Himachal Pradesh, (MNB).
Synonym Hydropsyche (Ceratopsyche) excavata Gui & Yang, 1999 , 20 (synonymized by Malicky & Chantaramongkol 2000, 811; Malicky 2013, 47), China (Yunnan). Holotype—Male; CHINA: Yunnan (NJAU). This species is a secondary junior homonym of Hydropsyche excavata Kimmins 1962 .
Synonym Hydropsyche yathetima Oláh & Schefter 2008 , in Oláh & Johanson 2008, 134–136 (synonymized by Malicky 2013, 47); Holotype—Male; India: Assam, (ROM) Malicky & Chantaramongkol 2000, 811; Oláh & Johanson 2008, 126; Morse 2016.
