Material examined. NourAbad, northern part of Bagherali sofla village, Lorestan, (N 30° 6΄ 37.7˝, E 51° 31΄ 36.36˝), 1836m, ZUTC 6049 ( Fig.1 View FIGURE 1 ).

General distribution and habitats. Palaearctic species. Known from central to Eastern Europe : Austria, Czech Republic, France (Vogues), Germany, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia ( Nesemann & Neubert 1999) and Ukraine ( Utevsky et al. 2012). Living in mountainous springs and streams underside of stones. This is a new record for Iran .

Descriptive features and remarks. Medium sized cylindrical leeches (to 50 mm), small rounded keels present at post clitellar part of the body. Anterior part bluntly conical. Male and female genital pores separated by 3 annuli. Dorsally, dark reddish brown or black with one pair of dark longitudinal stripe. Bright spots transversely arranged on each annulus. Ventrally, pale greenish black or grayish.
