Ammophila albohirsuta TSUNEKI 1971: 153 ,. Holotype:, Mongolia: Bayanhongor Aymag: Tsagan Bogdul (TMB).
R e c o g n i t i o n Podalonia albohirsuta View in CoL has a propodeal enclosure with erect setae and a gaster basally reddish. The male resembles P. hirsuta View in CoL but differs in having no transverse spines and no median thorn on penis valve in ventral view (figs 42, 67, 91 and 103). In addition, erect setae on the head, thorax and propodeum are white, black only on vertex; the clypeus has appressed silver setae.
Female unknown.
