Distribution in Iran. Isfahan ( Ghahari et al. 2011a), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Hedwig 1957 as Rhogas doctor var. similis Szépligeti ), West Azerbaijan ( Samin et al. 2014), Iran (no specific locality) ( Shenefelt 1975 as Rogas doctor ; Tobias 1986 as R. ductor ).
General distribution. Palaearctic. Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Ciscaucasia , Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, England, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Madeira Islands , Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Caucasus ( Tobias 1986, 1995 as Rogas ductor ), Egypt, Italy, Libya, Malta, Tunisia ( Yu et al. 2012; Papp 2015 as A. ductor var. reticulator (Nees)) , Turkey ( Yu et al. 2012; Beyarslan 2015).
Hosts. Lepidoptera—Lasiocampidae: Euthrix potatoria (Linnaeus, 1758) . Noctuidae : Anarta (Calocestra) trifolii (Hufnagel, 1766) ; Autographa gamma (Linnaeus, 1758) ; Mamestra brassicae (Linnaeus, 1758) . Nymphalidae : Brenthis ino (Rottemburg, 1775) . Sesiidae : Synanthedon scoliaeformis (Borkhausen, 1789) ( Tobias 1986; Yu et al. 2012).
