Type locality. East Madagascar, Navana east of Maroansetra .

Material examined (1 specimen). MADAGASCAR: 1 ♂: Ranomafana Nat. Park , near Ranomafana vill., M. Trýzna leg., 26.-31.i. 2007 ( JJRC) .

Distribution. The species was hitherto known from Navana and Ambodivoangy east of Maroansetra, Anandrivola 70 km SSE of Maroansetra, from Nosy Bohara and Tampolo. The new locality is situated markedly south of this region.
