Drabescoides bispinosa View in CoL n. sp.
( Figures 2 View FIGURE 2 A–G, 11I)
Description. Length of male 7.5 mm. Overall coloration pale brownish ochraceous with symmetrical black markings. Crown with large black medial macula and pair of slender curved lateral lines, face with dorsal carina, second antennal segment and several paired marks on frontoclypeus black. Pronotum with posterior two thirds mostly black densely marked with small pale spots somewhat irregularly arranged. Exposed part of mesonotum with seven curved longitudinal lines, medial and submedial lines extended onto scutellum. Forewing veins dark brown, cells with dark brown maculae centrally. Front femur mostly dark brown anteriorly, middle femur with two longitudinal brown stripes anteriorly; hind femur and all tibiae and tarsi indistinctly marked.
Front femur row IC with 6–7 very fine setae grouped near apex, AV without setae in basal half; tibia rows AD and PD with 7 and 5 macrosetae, respectively, AV and PV each with numerous setae. Middle femur with 4 moderately long, stout AV setae. Hind tibia rows PD, AD, AV with 28, 16 and 17 setae, respectively; tarsomere I pecten with 3 platellae. Forewing venation complete; inner anteapical cell open; clavus with one crossvein between claval suture and PCu and one between PCu and A1.
Male pygofer relatively elongate, apex extended well beyond apex of anal tube; lobe with single macroseta (only socket present in holotype), with two preapical spinelike projections, one near apex short and projected posterodorsad, other arising from ventral margin longer and strongly curved dorsolaterad. Subgenital plate triangular, compressed distally and extended to apex of pygofer lobe. Style with preapical lobe weakly developed; apophysis as long as basal part, apex expanded and rounded laterally in ventral view. Connective stem subequal to arms in length and width, apex deeply emarginate; arms weakly separated, closely appressed anteriorly. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme V-shaped in posterior view; shaft evenly curved dorsad, somewhat boatlike in appearance due to broad dorsolateral flanges extended between base and preapex of shaft in lateral view; apex spatulate with short acute medial projection in posteroventral view; gonopore preapical on dorsal surface.
Etymology. The species name is a Latinized adjective referring to the presence of two spines on each pygofer lobe in the male.
Material examined. Holotype male, VIETNAM: Vinh Phuc, Tam Dao , 21.4577ºN 105.6494ºE, 965m, 10 July 2019, C.H.Dietrich, Hg vapor light, VN19-10-1 ( VNMN). GoogleMaps
Notes. This species will run to D. longiarma Li & Li in the key to species provided by Qu et al. (2014) but differs from that species in having only two spinelike processes on each pygofer lobe, in having the dorsolateral flanges of the aedeagal shaft wider and the stem of the connective no wider than the combined width of the anterior arms.
