Genus: Amphicocconeis

Synonym: Psammococconeis brasiliensis M.Garcia

Remarks: The SVVC of this taxon remains to be decrypted. Furthermore, the RV striation has to be better defined (i.e., different stria densities are illustrated in fig. 4 and fig. 7 in Garcia 2001), for these reasons this taxon is not included in the cladistics analysis ( Fig. 73 ).
