Material examined. 13 (syntype Paralimnus facialis Distant ), Assam, Margherita, W. Doherty; 2Ƥ, same data as syntype (see Remarks below) ( BMNH).
Remarks. The identity of this species is uncertain as the dissection of the only male specimen is missing the aedeagus. Only the male bears a museum type disc but the two female specimens could also be syntypes as they bear identical data labels although also labelled from the Indian Museum.
