Type material. Holotype 3, Zambia: Northwestern Prov., 11km SW Mwinilunga, Nkunyi Local Forest, S1148.809’ E2421.953, Hg-vapor light, 4 Nov. 2007, JN Zahniser, ZA-04 ( INHS).

Etymology. The species name, an adjective, refers to the straight aedeagal shaft.

Description. Body length (including tegmen):3 5.8mm.

Male genitalia: pygophore relatively short, dorsal margin sloping to broadly rounded posterior margin; macrosetae distributed dorsomedially each side of midline, dorsoposteriorly and ventroposteriorly. Subgenital plate moderately long. Connective with stem slightly shorter than arms. Aedeagal shaft relatively straight, digitate, with well developed atrial rim; apical process slender, with length 2/3 length of shaft.

Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the distribution of macrosetae on the pygophore and straight digitate aedeagal shaft.

Distribution. Zambia ( Fig.16 View FIGURE 16 ).
