Number of specimens recorded. 39.

Distribution. Europe; also North Africa. Portugal: eight provinces in this study (see also Naglis & Barták 2015; Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. Recorded from four macrohabitat categories, most frequently from forests and riverbanks. In northwestern Europe, S. denticulatum is rather eurytopic with highest abundances in marshlands and swamps, mostly close to open water.

Rarity (%). 14.9 (common). Common (FL).

Activity period. April–October.
