Number of specimens recorded. 9.
Distribution. Europe, in the south only recorded from Italy. Portugal: one province in the north (Beira Litoral) and one in the south (Baixo Alentejo).
Ecology. Nearly all of the Portuguese specimens were collected on the trunk of Quercus suber along a small stream running through a Q. suber montado, and one specimen on a chestnut tree trunk in dry mixed forest. Its habitat preference in Europe is poorly known, but also there it has been collected regularly on tree trunks.
