Number of specimens recorded. 5.

Distribution. Europe, but not recorded from Scandinavia, Britain, Ireland nor the Iberian peninsula; also North Africa. Portugal: three northern provinces.

Ecology. All Portuguese sampling sites feature canopy by trees and most also open water. Indeed, also in the rest of Europe, the species prefers running water (e.g., waterfalls, springs) in deciduous forests ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 4.6 (rare).

Activity period. April–June.
