Genus Pleciogonus Chen, Nieser , & Wattanachaiyingcharoen
This monotypic genus is represented by Pleciogonus wongsirii Chen, Nieser , & Wattanachaiyingcharoen and has been recorded only from Thailand (Chen et al. 2002). This genus is found in montane streams (Chen et al. 2002) and is closely related to Andersenius Zettel & Chen and Pleciobates Esaki; however, P. wongsirii can easily be separated from the other genera based on color pattern ( Chen & Zettel 1998). More specifically, Pleciogonus has a yellow mesopleuron whereas Andersenius and Pleciobates have dark mesopleura.
