Remarks. The species was not re-examined. However, 2 males collected and identified by H. Boerger (University of Alberta, Edmonton) from Bigoray River, Canada (18/5/73) should be mentioned.
Distribution. The species is known from most of Western Europe ( Saether & Spies 2011). Recently it was recorded also in the North Urals and in the Russian Far East ( Krasheninnikov & Makarchenko 2009). In North America it was previously known from North and South Carolina ( Oliver et al. 1990: 22).
