Distribution. Locally through Europe, apart from north-westernmost parts, eastwards to the S Urals. Also recorded from Siberia.
Remarks. Specimens from S Ural (wingspan 8–10 mm) are smaller than specimens from rest of Europe ( 10–13 mm).
