Microxeromagna Ortiz de Zárate, 1950: 65 View in CoL . Type species (by monotypy): Helix stolismena Servain, 1880 (= Helix lowei Potiez & Michaud, 1835 ).
Diagnosis: Microxeromagna is characterized by a dart apparatus consisting of a dart sac without a large conical papilla inside, and by a slightly smaller accessory sac and a small shell with hairs. The inner structure of the genitalia has been described in detail by Hausdorf (1988) and Manganelli & Giusti (1988). The penis is innervated from the right cerebral ganglion.
