Diagnosis: A species with an average carapace length of 1mm assigned with great reservations to Candona . Lateral outline of the carapace roughly kidney-shaped. Left valve larger than right valve, forming a back protruding dorsally to a greater extent than along the other margins. The right valve has a strong but worn spine just below and a little behind the middle of the valve, which the left valve is missing.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5350.

Paratypes: 5 carapaces, SMF Xe 5351 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.94mm, height 0.58mm.
