Both valves with a flat node-like swelling in a more or less postero/dorso-median position. Carapace surface with irregular pore dimples, particularly in the central valve area.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5338.

Paratypes: 2 carapaces, SMF Xe 5339 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.94mm, height 0.64mm.
