Diagnosis: A middle-sized species of Cypridea (carapace length approx. 1.0mm) with rounded trapeziform lateral outline, flat but distinct median sulcus, valve surface smooth or very indistinctly finely sculptured. Left valve bigger than right valve.
Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7781.
Paratypes: Not deposited.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.88mm, height 0.60mm, width 0.41mm.
