Material examined. Turkey: Ardahan: 1 female, 10 km S Posof, Ilgardağı pass, 41°25.9'N / 042°44.5'E, 2540– 2600 m, 5.–7.VII.2004, Jiří Hájek & Jan Růžička leg., steppe and pastures on SW slope, baited pitfall traps (fish meat) with ethylene glycol ( JRUC). GoogleMaps
Distribution in Turkey. Adıyaman ( Háva et al. 1998; Sikes & Venables 2013a, b).
Remarks. Widely distributed Holarctic species (Růžička 2015), recently confirmed from Alaska, Yukon and Northwest Territories, but not from the rest of North America ( Sikes et al. 2016). In central Europe, commonly found in forested habitats, most frequent in wet coniferous forests ( Růžička 1994). In Turkey, reported from a single record in Adıyaman Province, belonging to the Eastern Anatolia Region ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 33–34 ). Here we report a second record from Eastern Anatolia Region, which is the first record from Ardahan Province.
