Material. Living immature specimens in squeeze preparation.

Locality. Praia da Enseada, Ubatuba, São Paulo, Brazil, subtidally from Sargassum sp. (23°29’30.6”S, 45°05’53.9”W).

Description. Immature specimens ~ 710 m in length and ~ 250 m wide ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 A). With black T-shaped coloration on dorsal side of body visible by transmitted light. Statocyst absent. One pair of reddish-orange eyespots at anterior end.

Remarks. Although immature, the identity of this species can be confirmed by its lack of a statocyst and characteristic black coloration on the dorsal side.
