TYPE SPECIES.— Novemcella ecuatoriana Goding 1925: 30 View in CoL View Cited Treatment . ( Azuay, Ecuador)
REMARKS.—The monotypic genus is unique in the fore wings possess nine apical cells. The remaining characters are very similar to Carineta ( Goding 1925) .
DISTRIBUTION.—The genus has been recorded only from Ecuador ( Metcalf 1963c).
