M a t e r i a l. Sequoia - type pollen grains are frequent .
R e m a r k s. The pollen grains are well preserved. They are much more abundant here than in the post-evaporitic sediments ( Niccolini et al. 2022). The description of Bouchal and Denk (2020) was followed for determination. The presence of Sequoia abietina (BRONGN.) ERW.KNOBLOCH supports this assignment (see below).
