Distribution (Map 6): south-eastern Azerbajan (Talysh) and north-eastren Turkey (Ovit-Ges.). - In Iran: Gui-
lan, Mazandaran, Golestan and Tehran provinces.
Bionomics. All specimens were collected at light from 250 to 3000 m, from August to November. Univoltine,
supposedly eggs hibernate. Larva unknown.
Material Examined: 1 male holotype, N. Iran, 12 km S Amol, 250 m, 28.X.1970, leg. G. Ebert & H. Mirza-
yan ( SMK); 4 males paratypes, same data ( SMK); 4 males, Iran, Elburs, vic. Kendevan, 2500–3000 m, 14–
18.VIII.1977, leg. W. Thomas (MWM); male, Iran, Prov. Gilan, ca. 45 km S of Rasht, 37º00‘N, 49º31‘E, 250
m, 27.IX 2000, leg. Csorba, Herczig & Ronkay ( CMSW); 6 males, 2 females, the same data ( CAHU).
