REMARKS: Alien species with primarily circumtropical distribution ( Zenetos et al. 2010). Originally described from Sydney, Australia and now widely distributed around the world. Reported for the first time in the Mediterranean Sea at Naples ( Italy, Tyrrhenian Sea) ( Zibrowius 1992).
