REMARKS: Subtropical alien species from Southern Australia ( Fauvel 1923b; Zenetos et al. 2010), which probably invaded the Mediterranean Sea as ship fouling during the First World War ( Zibrowius 1992). In the Adriatic Sea it was recorded for the first time in the Venice Lagoon (NA) by Fauvel (1938).
