Type species: Koeneniodes notabilis Silvestri, 1913

Diagnosis. Ventral sacs on opisthosoma absent; opisthosomal segment IX slightly narrower than VIII and about twice as wide as XI; pygidium narrowed posteriorly; flagellum longer than opisthosoma; opisthosomal sternites IV and V form a single protuberance ( Rowland & Sissom 1980).
