Dodia verticalis Lafontaine & Troubridge, 1999: 92 View in CoL , figs 1e, 2d. Holotype ♀ (CNC). Type locality: Canada, Yukon Territory, British Mts. GoogleMaps , 69°17’ N, 140°03’ W.
Diagnosis. Similar to Dodia albertae and D. tarandus , but dark transverse bands on forewing meeting at right angles on posterior margin. Male unknown ( Lafontaine & Troubridge 1999; Schmidt & Macaulay 2009).
Distribution. Known only from two localities in Richardson and British Mts. (Northwestern Canada, Yukon).
Ecology. Inhabits dry mountain tundra. Flight period from mid to late June. Larval biology and host plants are unknown ( Lafontaine & Troubridge 1999).
