Austrolimnophila (Austrolimnophila) tenuilobata Alexander, 1942 View in CoL
Alexander, 1942: 59–61 (original description), 75, figures 25 (wing) and 31 (male terminalia). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, São Paulo (Serra da Cantareira).
Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil, Sao Paulo | S. Cantareira | 900m; XII. 40 [1940] | Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Austrolimnophila | tenuilobata | C. P. Alexander”.
Preservation: mounted at the tip of a pinned paper triangle; terminalia mounted on plastic slide pinned with the specimen; part of abdomen and part of one undetermined leg glued on piece of paper pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: antenna, palpi, wings and most legs. Additional note: the original description indicates as collectors “Guimarães & Travassos”. This differs from the specimen label which indicates only “Travassos” as the collector.
