Distribution. Most of Europe ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Ukraine: Kyiv, Cherkasy ( Kameneva & Korneyev, 1985); Chernivtsi Region ( first record).

Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Centaurea scabiosa ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994).
