Description. Male. Appearance of this new species is similar to the known species of the genus. Pronotum long, slightly surpassing posterior margin of 7th abdominal tergite ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ).
10th abdominal tergite conspicuously extended posteriorly, basal area short and broad, rectangular, with a median sulcus; apical half heart-shaped with longitudinal sulcus in the midline, lateral margins expanded, arcshaped; posterior margin concave ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). Cercus elongate, markedly bent inwards, dorsal margin of 1/3 basal area with 1 small spiniform process ( Fig. 6C View FIGURE 6 ), terminal slightly acute; subapex faintly expanding ventrally and dorsally, twisted and apex lamellate ( Fig. 6H, K, L View FIGURE 6 ). Genitalia sclerotized, slightly longer than subgenital plate, terminal expanded horizontally, with 1 concavity in the middle on posterior margin, lateral angles extending ventrally and outward, faintly obtusely rounded ( Fig. 6M View FIGURE 6 ). Subgenital plate rectangular, basal area with 1 triangular concavity, posterior margin concave; with 1 pair of short styli inserted laterally and apically ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ).
Female. Pronotum shorter, not prolonged and extended, metazona not raised; lateral lobe tapering at metazona, without humeral sinus ( Fig. 6E View FIGURE 6 ). Posterior margin of 9th abdominal tergite semicircular, concave, lateral margins prolonged posteriorly. 10th abdominal tergite protruding caudad, the middle of posterior margin with a triangular depression ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ). Cercus conical, apex subacute. Ovipositor robust at base, apical half tapering, a bit bents dorsad; dorsal and ventral margins smooth as well as dorsal valvulae slightly equal to ventral valvulae ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ). Subgenital plate somewhat broad peltate, basal area narrow, posterior margin a bit concave ( Fig. 6J View FIGURE 6 ).
Coloration. Body yellowish green, green when alive. Eyes brown. Longitudinal light brown stripe on disc of pronotum reaching posterior margin. Dorsal surface of male abdomen with 1 slightly broad longitudinal light brown stripe in the midline, inconspicuous in females. Apices of third tarsi and claws blackish brown and spines of hind tibiae with apices blackish brown.
Measurements (mm). Body: ♂ 10.1–11.7, ♀ 8.9–9.8; pronotum: ♂ 5.9–6.9, ♀ 3.7–3.8; hind femora: ♂ 6.9–8.0, ♀ 7.5–7.9; ovipositor: 6.3–7.0.

Distribution. China (Guizhou).
Discussion. This new species can be distinguished from known species of Sinocyrtaspis by: male 10th abdominal tergite with apical area heart-shaped, cercus elongate, markedly bent inwards; dorsal margin of 1/3 basal area with 1 small spiniform process.
Etymology. The name of new species is derived from apical half of male 10th abdominal tergite heart-shaped. Greek “ cardi- ” means cardiac.
