General distribution. Oriental, Palaearctic.
Distribution in Iran. Ilam province ( Ghahari et al. 2011a). Remarks. This species has previously been recorded as Petalodes compressor (Herrich-Schäffer, 1838) (e. g. by Ghahari et al. 2011a).
