Camptopoeum altaicum Morawitz, 1891: 142 , ♀, ♂.

Type locality: Besterek, East Kazakhstan Province ( Kazakhstan).

Published (original) locality: “ Altai bei Bisterek”.

Lectotype (designated here): ♂, Altai, Bisterek [ Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan Province, Besterek, 49°38′E 82°41′N] // altaicum F. Mor. , ♂ [handwritten by F. Morawitz] // к.[оллекциЯ] Ф. Paralectotypes: 2 ♀, 3 ♂, the same label as in the lectotype.

Current status. Camptopoeum (Camptopoeum) frontale (Farbicius, 1804) (synonymised by Warncke 1987: 82).

Distribution. Europe, Russia (European part), Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan ( Proshchalykin et al. 2017).
