Protamaurops assingi Brachat, 2016: 128 View in CoL . Type data: Holotype ♂, Greece: Lesbos GoogleMaps [24a], W Kalloni, Prof. Ilias, 39°12’29’’N, 26°06’01’’E, 790 m, 23.III.2016, V. Assing & A. Hetzel, (PCVB).
Note: The species has been recently described based on one male from the island Lesbos at the peak of Profitis Ilias in the Ordimnos range by sifting in shrubby habitat and it is most probably endemic to this island.
Distribution: Greece (Lesbos).
