Cebrennus Simon, 1880 View in CoL View at ENA
Cebrenis Simon, 1874: 263 View in CoL (description of genus; name preoccupied in Coreidae, Heteroptera View in CoL ) Cebrennus Simon, 1880: 229 View in CoL , 331 (nomen novum for Cebrenis View in CoL ). Levy 1989: 155 –162 (revision of species from Israel); Jäger 2000: 165 (revision).
Cerbalopsis Jézéquel & Junqua, 1966: 969 (description of new genus; synonymy by Jäger 2000: 165). Note. Usually Cebrennus View in CoL was considered a member of the subfamily Sparassinae Bertkau, 1872 ( Jäger 1998). According to a recently proposed molecular phylogeny, Micrommata View in CoL ( type genus of Sparassinae; see Jäger 1999) does not form a monophylum with the assumed Sparassinae ( Moradmand et al., 2014). Cebrennus View in CoL appeared sister to Cerbalus View in CoL , and both sister to Olios View in CoL .
