Type species: Popillia fasciculata Burmeister, 1844
Diagnosis. Clypeus with the anterior margin distinctly raised, sides parallel, anterior angles rounded but right. Labrum not visible from above. Males with long antennal club, 1.7–2.3 times as long as the rest of the antenna. In males, internal (main) claw of prolegs narrow, with sharp apex ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 2 ). Aedeagus small, parameres 0.6–0.9 mm long, without ventral apophyses.
