Type material examined. Holotype ( ♂, HNHM, Figs. 79–83 ), labeled: “Nicobar Oerne // Holotypus Eophileurus nicobarensis Endrődi ”, examined through photographs provided by the late Ottó Merkl . Allotype ( ♀, HNHM, Figs. 84–86 ), labeled: “Nicobar Oerne // Allotype Eophileurus nicobarensis Endrődi ”, examined through photographs provided by the late Ottó Merkl .

Additional material examined. None.

Distribution. India: Nicobar Is.

Remarks. Hitherto, this species is only known from Nicobar Island. Photographs of the type material are illustrated here for the first time ( Figs. 79–85 ).
